NASA Exploration

The BLIINK contest is a contest that students from web mastering classes in Texas will compete to try and create the best website for a page in NASA.

Each winning team member for Mission 1 and 2 receives a Zune® HD 16 GB Video MP3 Player personal media player (Estimated Retail Value $219.99) and $250 cash**. The NASA-Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, will host the winning teams to honor their accomplishments and contributions.

The client is NASA for my teams website, NASA is also the audience and customer for the webpage.

Similarities:
1) Both have a split veiw for code and design.
2) Both create and edit web sites.

Differences:
1) Expression Web has a different feel than Dreamweaver.
2) Dreamweaver is easier to handle.

What I learned from a Guest Speaker

A guest speaker from the Art Institute of Houston came to my class on Dec. 4. I have payed attention to only four ideas though.

1. There is a culinary program which I find interesting because I like to cook.

2.There is a media arts program for sounds and videos which is pretty neat.

3.There is a Fashion program which doesn't in the least bit interest me.

4. And there is a Design program in which design school graduates add imagination and aesthetics to our world.
